What Type of Pregnancy Test Is Provided At EPIC Center?
A urine test is provided cost-free at the EPIC Center. This test is not invasive and is a quality-grade pregnancy test that is highly accurate. Your test is resulted quickly by one of our trained staff, and you will be provided the results during your appointment, so there is no wait.
How Does A Pregnancy Test Work?
A pregnancy test is sensitive to a hormone called Human chorionic gonadotrophin or hCG. This hormone is only produced during pregnancy and is produced quickly in the first trimester. If this hormone is detected, the result will be positive.
Why Should I Test Again?
Although home pregnancy tests are usually effective and cost-effective, they can lead to false results. Taking a lab-quality test will ensure you are receiving the right answer you need to plan your next step. Some reasons a home test may be inaccurate are:

Will A Pregnancy Test Tell Me How Far Along I Am?
